Job description
Role Overview

The Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with a focus on power conversion and smart switch applications. The role requires a deep understanding of analog fundamentals, circuit architecture, and system-level performance optimization. The successful candidate will contribute to the entire design flow—from concept to silicon validation—ensuring high performance, low power consumption, and reliable functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal IC circuits for power management and smart switching applications.
  • Implement and optimize analog IP blocks such as LDOs, bandgap references, ADCs, charge pumps, oscillators, and drivers.
  • Conduct transistor-level simulations, circuit verification, and performance characterization.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure robust and efficient layout implementation, including matching and parasitic considerations.
  • Participate in chip-level integration, validation, and debugging of analog blocks.
  • Work closely with digital and system teams to define specifications, interfaces, and performance targets.
  • Support silicon bring-up, lab testing, and correlation between simulation and measurement results.
  • Drive design reviews, document design specifications, and ensure compliance with design methodologies and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in analog circuit design for ICs.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal design principles, circuit simulation, and silicon validation.
  • Hands-on experience with ADC, LDO, bandgap reference, charge pump, driver circuits, and oscillators.
  • HV technology experience and familiarity with power management IC design preferred.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE, or similar EDA tools.
  • Good understanding of layout techniques, parasitic effects, and ESD protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across functions.
