Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an Intern for Global Operations to support AML/compliance tasks, analyze data, and help improve transaction monitoring across the organization.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams, gain exposure to policy development, data analysis, and monitoring dashboards, and enhance your practical skills in a fast-growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Law, Data Science or related discipline.
• Internship experience in payment, data analysis, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong data analytical skills with practical knowledge of SQL/Excel and other analysis tools.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent time management.
• Ability to work methodically and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to AML/compliance operations by executing tasks and documenting risks.
• Collaborate with business units to understand models and risk exposures; help detect suspicious transactions.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards to assess rule performance and effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and enhancing policies across the transaction monitoring lifecycle.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to implement and refine transaction monitoring processes.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders within Global Payments to ensure operational efficiency.
• Support operational projects with project management and execution skills.
• Perform data interpretation and analysis with high accuracy.

Qualifications
