Job summary

THE EDGE CONTRACTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced AML/KYC Specialist to support client onboarding, periodic reviews and ongoing compliance within Private Banking. You will work in a 1.5 Line of Defence setup, reviewing KYC assessments and advising on risk mitigations.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Relationship Managers and Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment and robust due diligence for HNW/UHNW clients.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of AML/KYC, CDD/EDD or financial crime compliance experience.
Preferably 2–3 years in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
Experience with SOW/SOF corroboration and complex ownership structures.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent reviews of KYC/CDD assessments for HNW/UHNW clients.
Review onboarding, periodic KYC reviews and EDD cases for compliance.
Assess client risk profiles, including PEP exposure and sanctions risks.
Identify documentation gaps and AML/CFT risks in KYC submissions.
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Compliance on mitigations.
Review changes in ownership structures and authorised signatories.
Investigate unusual transactions and escalate suspicious activity.
