Job summary

Wintermute Asia invites a Compliance professional to join our Singapore office to oversee onboarding of counterparties and ensure AML/CTF compliance across the trading operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, conducting periodic KYC, and performing risk assessments. The role requires use of automated tools and close collaboration with trading, operations, product and compliance teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of financial crime experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore AML regulations and sanctions (UN/EU/OFAC/HMT).
• Experience running efficient compliance processes at scale with automation and external tools.
• Interest in algorithmic trading and decentralized finance.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new counterparties in a timely manner.
• Review counterparties' documentation for AML/CTF compliance.
• Complete periodic KYC reviews and refresh onboarding docs.
• Assist in managing onboarding documents.
• Perform risk assessments for new and existing counterparties; escalate to MLRO as needed.
• Conduct wallet screening, PEP, sanctions and adverse media checks.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, product and compliance teams to improve processes.
