Role Overview

Cargo Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving cargo revenue performance and strengthening the airline’s presence in the local and regional market. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with cargo agents, co-loaders, freight forwarders, and key industry stakeholders. The role requires a proactive approach in identifying new business opportunities, promoting airline products and services, and delivering excellent customer support to ensure sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve cargo revenue and tonnage targets.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with cargo agents, co-loaders, freight forwarders, and interline partners.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and training sessions for cargo partners.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and booking performance to identify business opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide timely solutions to service issues, and ensure a high standard of client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth cargo operations and service delivery.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and performance analyses to evaluate progress and support management decision-making.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the air cargo or freight forwarding industry.
  • Familiarity with airline cargo systems such as Cargo Flash, or other related systems will be an advantage.
