Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Airfreight Operations Specialist at Astro Express Logistics P/L in Singapore. The Specialist will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day logistics operations, overseeing supply chain management, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Scope
  • Assist in coordinating and managing airfreight shipments.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., AWBs, invoices, customs declarations).
  • Check for possible discrepancies between the packing list and the actual stock.
  • Liaise with customers, airlines, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate and follow up with shipments closely with customers, drivers, and airlines.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and updating clients on shipment status.
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems with shipment details.
Requirements
  • GCE O Level / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of working experience in freight forwarding or logistics
  • Proficiency in logistics softwares and Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Good knowledge of air import & export documentation and operation procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Analytical skills and supply chain management expertise

Working Location and Hours

Working at Changi Air Cargo Complex

Working 5 days with 1 Saturday monthly on duty
