Job summary

An aviation services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician. You will inspect, maintain, and rebuild aircraft components while ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and relevant educational qualifications. This role offers a chance to work with various aircraft types including B737 and A320.

Qualifications

  • Minimum ITE holder or GCE ‘O’ Level or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience on B737, A320, Fokker 100 & ATR is an advantage.

Job description
Key responsibilities
  • Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks, or other issues.
  • Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins, and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
  • Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.
  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment and aircraft components.
  • Interpret specifications or diagrams to inform installation, development, or operation activities.
  • Perform regular inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments, and wear.
  • Complete all tasks within the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company.
  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.
  • Order supplies, equipment, materials, and parts for repairs and general maintenance.
  • Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures, and ordered parts.
Qualification / Expertise / Skills
  • Minimum ITE holder or GCE ‘O’ Level or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience on any of the following type B737, A320, Fokker 100 & ATR would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage.
