Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician for air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience, a Higher Nitec or equivalent, and a strong customer service orientation. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and managing job sites. Overtime work may be required. A Class 3 driving license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Class 3 driving license in Singapore is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with less guidance.

Responsibilities for all types of air‑conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems:

• Installation, troubleshooting, repair, service and maintenance
• Design, selection of equipment and build up the system
• Perform on-site and in-house services/repair
• Provide technical support in the field
• Assist with commercial and residential customers’ enquiries
• Ad‑hoc duties as required
• Able to communicate and be an adviser to meet customers’ requirements
• Commit to work overtime including weekends or public holidays when required
• Manage job site, supervise and ensure works are following the contract and specifications
• Allocation of budget, manpower, material

Requirements

• Min Higher Nitec related to job or equivalent
• Min 5 years of Hands‑On Experience in installation, repair and maintenance and troubleshooting of aircon and commercial refrigeration systems
• Possession of a Class 3 Driving License in Singapore will be an advantage
• Self‑motivated team player with a positive attitude
• Able to work independently with less guidance
• Create service report after job done
• Update van stocks for material, spare parts and specific equipment needed for interventions
