Job summary

DLM PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Aircon Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, safety focus, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

You will install components, read schematics, test equipment, and collaborate with other technicians to ensure high-quality service. A minimum of 2 years’ experience and a NITEC or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of related work experience.
• NITEC or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing new equipment and machinery.
• Installing components of air conditioning systems such as compressor, condenser, and evaporator.
• Maintenance to ensure systems function properly.
• Inspecting and testing equipment to diagnose problems and determine repairs.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts such as motors, belts, gears, and electrical components.
• Troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Following safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in maintenance and repair.
• Providing technical support to customers or clients.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Company.
