Job summary

A HVAC services company in Singapore is looking for an Air-Conditioning Engineering Technician to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in various settings. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Mechanical or Air-Conditioning Engineering and at least 2–3 years of experience in the field, demonstrating strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Job Description:

The Air-Conditioning Engineering Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role ensures systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split units, VRV/VRF, and central chillers.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in compressors, motors, fans, electrical components, and refrigerant circuits.
  • Check and adjust system performance, pressures, and temperatures.
  • Conduct leak testing, refrigerant charging, and system flushing.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and service records.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients during installation or maintenance works.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical or Air-Conditioning Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in HVAC servicing or installation.
  • Familiar with electrical control circuits and refrigeration systems.
