Job summary

SUPCON is seeking a Machine Learning/Control Engineer in Singapore to build autonomous optimization systems that connect AI, control, and process intelligence. You'll work on prototyping and tuning various control algorithms that interface with real-world data.

The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background, is skilled in designing DCS programs, and possesses a strong foundation in machine learning and optimization methods. Exciting challenges lie ahead to transform industrial data into operational autonomy.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in reinforcement learning, model-predictive control, or system identification.
• Experience with simulation environments is beneficial.

• Understanding of control theory, process systems, or simulation environments is a plus.
• Experience with real‑time data or streaming frameworks (MQTT, OPC‑UA, Kafka, etc.) is a plus.
