Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced AI Tech Lead to drive design, development, and implementation of AI solutions within a banking environment. You will provide hands-on technical leadership, guide AI engineering teams, and deliver scalable, secure AI applications aligned with business objectives.

The role requires 7+ years in software/AI engineering with leadership, strong Python skills, and production experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/AI engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong Python and production AI experience.
• Hands-on Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and MLOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
• Familiarity with AI security, data governance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions for banking use cases.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI designs.
• Develop AI/ML models, LLM-powered apps, RAG pipelines, and AI agents where appropriate.
• Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, MLOps, and LLMOps.
• Integrate AI with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and banking systems.
• Ensure solutions meet security, data privacy, explainability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, architects, and risk teams.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
