Job summary

Seven 365 Pte Ltd is seeking a developer to build web and mobile apps using AI-assisted development workflows. You will use AI coding agents in the terminal and IDE to implement features, refactor code, and resolve bugs, and deploy on cloud servers such as DigitalOcean with MongoDB management and SSL setup.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills, Linux CLI comfort, and solid Git workflows.

About the role

Deploy and manage applications on cloud servers such as DigitalOcean, set up and maintain MongoDB databases, and use AI design tools to create UI mockups, prototypes, and visual assets.

• Use AI coding agents in the terminal and in the IDE to implement features, refactor code, and resolve bugs

• Deploy and manage applications on cloud servers such as DigitalOcean

• Set up, manage, and maintain MongoDB databases, including deployment, backups, and performance tuning

• Use AI design tools to create UI mockups, prototypes, and visual assets

• Review AI-generated code for quality, security, and correctness before it ships

• Work with Git branching and pull request workflows alongside other developers

About you

• Hands‑on experience with Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, both through the terminal and inside VS Code

• Experience with other third-party AI development platforms (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar)

• Experience using Claude's design features or similar AI design tools for UI and prototypes

• Proven experience deploying applications to DigitalOcean (Droplets, App Platform, or similar), including server setup, environment configuration, and domain/SSL management

• Experience deploying and managing MongoDB (self-hosted or MongoDB Atlas)

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js

• Comfortable with the Linux command line, SSH, and basic server administration

• Strong Git skills (branching, cherry‑picking, pull requests)

• Ability to critically review AI output rather than accept it as‑is

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, React Native, or Expo
• Familiarity with Docker, Nginx, and PM2
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Experience writing prompts, custom instructions, or skills/agents for AI coding tools
• Knowledge of REST API design and authentication
