Qualifications

• Singapore-qualified lawyer with 1–6 years PQE (newly qualified welcome).
• Experience or strong interest in Commercial litigation / international arbitration, or Shipping and maritime disputes.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Comfort with AI-powered legal tools (e.g. generative AI for research and drafting, e-discovery platforms, contract/document review software).
• Sound judgment on appropriate use of AI in legal work, with verification.
• Arbitration experience preferred but not mandatory for shipping role.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, submissions, and support advocacy using AI-assisted tools while retaining ownership of accuracy and legal judgment.
• Work on commercial litigation and international arbitration matters, often with cross-border elements.
• Develop case strategy and client advisory work, collaborating with partners and clients.
• Handle cross-border matters with increasing autonomy and contribute to firm growth.
• Identify and adopt AI and legal tech tools to improve turnaround times and work quality.
