Mercor is seeking AI Safety Experts to join our remote contract team to evaluate and strengthen safety of conversational AI systems.

Applicants must have red-teaming experience in AI adversarial work or cybersecurity and be fluent in English and Tamil, with strong communication to explain risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in adversarial ML, cybersecurity, or socio-technical risk analysis is preferred; creative probing in psychology, acting, or writing is a plus.

Formación

• Native fluency in English and Tamil.
• Strong communication skills to explain risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Annotate failures, classify vulnerabilities, and flag systemic risks.
• Apply structure by following taxonomies, benchmarks, and playbooks to maintain consistent testing.
• Document reproducibly by producing reports, datasets, and attack cases that customers can act on.
• Collaborate on sensitive projects with clear guidelines and wellness resources.
