Job summary

NTU Singapore seeks a Research Engineer to support AI-driven health research and project management within HABITS, a center established through NTU and NHG. The role focuses on developing AI solutions, managing data operations, ethics approvals, and collaboration with clinicians and biostatisticians.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD or MSc in a relevant field with strong AI expertise, healthcare data understanding, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

PhD or MSc in CS/AI/Math/Engineering or related field.
Expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning.
Strong understanding of healthcare data and clinical research.
Proficiency in ML techniques and data-driven problem solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and deploy AI algorithms for digital health and AI‑driven research projects.
Lead technical innovation by exploring and implementing emerging AI methodologies.
Support data platform development and retrospective data collection and analysis.
Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, coordinators, and biostatisticians to deliver project outcomes.
Publish research findings in high‑impact journals and present results to investigators and collaborators.
Prepare technical reports and research updates for project leadership.
Mentor junior AI researchers and contribute to capability building within the team.
