Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking researchers to develop and deploy machine learning models for processing clinical data within a local medical domain. You will train and test AI solutions, collaborating with software teams to deliver AI products in a hybrid cloud setting.

Candidates should have a strong ML background, proficiency in Python and AI frameworks, and the ability to publish research. Experience with healthcare data is a plus and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Masters in bioinformatics, statistics, computer science or related fields with strong ML and software development skills.
• Hands-on experience developing AI models in NLP, imaging, or speech.
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge of ML platforms/services from AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Knowledge of big data technologies including cloud computing is a plus.
• Ability to write/contribute to research articles or grants.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Healthcare data background is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and development of machine learning models to process clinical data.
• Development, training and testing of AI models in the local medical domain.
• Work with the team to deploy the AI models in hybrid cloud environment.
• Work with the software development team to deliver AI products.
• Document clearly how algorithms were implemented, verified and validated.
