Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Applied AI Product Engineer to build internal AI-powered products, integrations and data workflows that support content, product and research teams. You will work across the product lifecycle from problem definition to launch and iteration.

This hands-on role focuses on designing, coding, testing and operating solutions, turning repetitive tasks into self-service capabilities, and applying responsible engineering practices with a focus on AI tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience building production software in software engineering, product engineering, ML engineering or similar roles.
• Experience owning scoped technical products from ambiguity through design, implementation, launch and iteration.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, PHP/Hack, C++).
• Experience building or integrating APIs, backend services, data workflows or full-stack products with debugging.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users to understand problems, outcomes and constraints before designing solutions.
• Build end-to-end internal products, integrations and data workflows.
• Turn prototypes into reliable, reusable capabilities.
• Design evaluation loops for AI-powered workflows and measure adoption and impact.
• Apply production engineering practices: testing, observability and safe failure handling.
• Review AI-generated outputs and ensure quality through validation.
