Job summary

ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join an AI Platform team for a 12-month contract with extension possibilities. The role focuses on building scalable applications and data solutions, spanning backend, cloud, data engineering and AI/ML capabilities.

You will collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML teams to integrate machine learning and Generative AI features, leveraging AWS, Spark/PySpark and SQL on large datasets.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience and hands-on coding.
• Solid AWS and cloud-based application development knowledge.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience.
• Hands-on Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with data engineering, ML or AI projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications and scalable backend services.
• Develop robust solutions using Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Work with AWS cloud services to build, deploy and support cloud-based applications.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and work with large-scale datasets.
• Work with Apache Spark / PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML teams to integrate machine learning into applications.
• Contribute to projects involving LLM / Generative AI technologies.
• Participate in system design, development, testing, deployment and optimisation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure reliability, scalability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
