Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based technology consultancy, seeks a senior AI platform engineer to build and manage a central AI Foundation Platform on Amazon Bedrock. You will design full-stack services, ensure secure access to models, and integrate with enterprise data sources across divisions.

Bring 5+ years in full-stack/cloud/AI platform engineering, strong Python/JavaScript skills, and a track record with AWS Bedrock, CI/CD, IaC, and container tech.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in full stack development, cloud or AI platform engineering, including at least 2 years of practical experience with AI/ML or generative AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, in particular Amazon Bedrock, and related services such as SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, OpenSearch, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch and KMS.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience building RESTful APIs (e.g. FastAPI, Node.js) and web frontends (e.g. React, Angular)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsets such as GitLab, JIRA, BitBucket and Confluence.
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, and data protection controls.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and monitor the centralised AI Foundation Platform (Amazon Bedrock) providing secure access to foundation models.
• Maintain the AI infrastructure, including model access, provisioning, quotas, API integrations and service configurations.
• Design and develop full-stack platform services, including backend APIs, middleware and admin/self-service portals.
• Integrate the AI platform with enterprise data sources and applications for context-aware outputs including RAG pipelines.
• Support model customisation (e.g. fine-tuning, prompt management, knowledge bases) and contribute to MinLaw domain ontology.
• Optimise platform performance, latency, throughput and cost; ensure scalability, availability and reliability of AI services.
• Monitor and report Bedrock consumption and cost; recommend optimisation measures
• Design and implement secure AI infrastructure aligned with Government ICT&SS including IAM, network isolation, encryption and secrets management.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning, deployment and release of AI platform components.
• Build shared, reusable platform components for common AI capabilities.
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools for AI service performance, utilisation and health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues across layers; participate in on-call escalations.
• Work with DevSecOps Engineers, Solution Architect and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Review source code and solutions as part of the SDLC; produce technical documentation and onboarding guides.
