The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on builder who loves using AI tools to make things faster, smarter, and more efficient. You’ll work directly with the founder to spot opportunities where AI can automate work, improve user experience, or unlock new ideas — then actually build the systems to make it happen.

This role is part engineering, part ops hacker, and part AI tinkerer. You’ll be building real automations that run the company — from connecting APIs with n8n or Zapier to designing LLM-powered workflows with OpenAI and LangChain.

What You’ll Do

• Build and launch AI automations and internal tools that save the team hours every week.
• Work directly with the founder to brainstorm, test, and deploy new AI-powered workflows.
• Track what’s working, debug when things break, and continuously improve reliability.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience, or an equivalent track record of building things that work.
• Experience with AI automation tools.
• Strong foundation in coding knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript).
• Obsession with finding smarter ways to work using AI.
• Passion for staying current with AI advancements and understanding their practical applications
• Fast learner who loves experimenting and shipping quickly.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI into products or internal dashboards.
• Portfolio, GitHub, or videos showing past automations or AI projects.

Our Stack

• Frontend: React Native (Expo) app styled with Tailwind CSS and built on the Gluestack UI component library
• Data Layer: TanStack Query for efficient data fetching and client-side state management via REST APIs
• Backend: Serverless Node.js architecture using NestJS for API services and asynchronous job handling on AWS Lambda
• Database: PostgreSQL as the primary relational datastore
• Infrastructure: Fully deployed and managed on AWS with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Tooling: Modern developer stack including GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, and Graphite
