Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, collaborating with a leading AI lab. You will assess AI-generated music across genres, rating it against detailed quality standards while working in Mandarin Chinese and English.

You will label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical traits; review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material; and provide insightful feedback to help refine models.

Qualifications

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer or audio engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs across musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
