Job summary

GaitMetrics is seeking an experienced AI & Software Algorithm Engineer with hands-on experience analysing RF or LiDAR data related to human activities and gait motion. You will work with application teams to develop AI algorithms for radio sensing and LiDAR data, and collaborate with industry partners and research institutes to evaluate AI technologies for our domain.

Qualifications

• Diploma (with experience) or Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant Engineering courses.
• Relevant experience in the AI research field of working with RF/LiDAR based data would be a big plus
• Familiarity with radio/LiDAR principles and microcontroller is also a positive

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the application team in providing technical research support and development of AI algorithms for radio sensing (Wifi, mmWave or other RF devices) and/or LiDAR
• Adopt a proactive learning aptitude in subject of radio propagation/LiDAR parameter extraction and manipulation
• Engage with industry players, research institutes to assess AI technologies for our domain
• Design, develop, implement and validate proposed algorithms
• Develop AI algorithms and proactively engage in data collection
• Translate algorithms into potential applications with others
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing for successful system implementation with customers in proof of concept and deployment
• Ensure customer satisfaction while achieving company targets and goals
• Develop presentations, strategies, tactics and documentation as required
• Accompany partners on strategic sales calls, customer visits and promotional activities
• Provide ongoing reports to management on opportunities and progress
• Overseas travel may be required from time to time
