Job summary

Arqis is seeking a strong AI / full-stack engineering intern to work with the founding team and help build the core product. You will ship features that customers actually use while collaborating closely with early customers and the founder.

You should be comfortable solving unfamiliar problems and building things independently, with experience in Python/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and AI workflows. Side projects and contributions count toward your résumé.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript in building applications.
• Familiarity with React and Next.js or similar modern web frameworks.
• Experience with LLM APIs and AI app development.
• Knowledge of retrieval and AI workflows (RAG, agents, tools).
• Understanding of databases and APIs; basic cloud infra is a plus.
• Experience evaluating AI systems and running tests.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features across the Arqis platform.
• Build transaction review and remediation workflows.
• Develop interfaces for reviewing risks, controls, exceptions and evidence.
• Improve speed, reliability and usability of the product.
• Build AI-native workflows and intelligence infrastructure.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team and early customers.
