Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
• Strong academic background in machine learning and convex optimization.
• Independent, analytical, proactive and a team player.
• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on AI-for-Science systems leveraging foundation models and optimization techniques.
• Develop software prototypes for automated research workflows with deep learning architectures.
• Collaborate with AI researchers on translational applications and validate methodologies.
• Publish in top-tier conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, KDD, IEEE TKDE).
• Supervise graduate students and contribute to interdisciplinary activities.
