Job summary

Espire Infolabs is seeking an experienced Software / AI Engineer to lead AI initiatives in Singapore, with a focus on designing and delivering scalable GenAI solutions. The role targets a Senior Technical Lead/Architect track, requiring hands-on leadership and production-grade delivery.

You will oversee architecture choices, mentor an engineering team, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement secure, observable systems on AWS, including Bedrock, SageMaker, and related services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software or AI engineering experience with at least 3 years in a senior lead/architect role.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering AI/ML/GenAI in production.
• Deep understanding of AWS AI and cloud-native services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, OpenSearch, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3).
• Strong GenAI engineering knowledge (LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation).
• Experience building secure, scalable, observable systems.
• Experience overseeing vendor-delivered AI solutions and technical handover.
• Production-grade Python CI/CD, testing, observability, code review.
• Line management or technical leadership experience.

We are looking for an experienced Software / AI Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a Senior Technical Lead, Technical Architect, or Solution Architect role.

Role - AI Engineer Lead

Location - Singapore (initially for 6 months to 1 year)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 7+ years of software or AI engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior technical lead or architect role
• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering AI / ML / GenAI solutions in production environments.
• Deep understanding of AWS AI and cloud-native services, preferably including Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, OpenSearch, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and S3.
• Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI engineering, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG architecture, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation frameworks, and hallucination controls.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable production systems.
• Experience providing technical oversight of vendor-delivered AI solutions reviewing designs, approving approaches, managing technical handover
• Production-grade Python CI/CD, testing, observability, code review
• Line management or technical leadership experience ability to lead, mentor and develop an engineering team
• Experience in a regulated industry financial services or insurance strongly preferred
