Job summary

EY is seeking passionate GenAI Engineers to join EY DnA in Asia-Pacific. You will design, build and deploy intelligent GenAI-powered workflows, integrating with backend systems and data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

You will prototype AI agent frameworks, refine NLP models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable GenAI solutions. Strong Python and full-stack skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with NLP, ML, and Generative AI, especially LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python and other applicable full-stack programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of ML, language modelling, data mining, and predictive modeling.
• Excellent understanding of data science algorithms, processes, tools, and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy intelligent single/multi-agentic applications using GenAI models (LLMs).
• Develop and maintain end-to-end AI-powered workflows on cloud platforms.
• Develop NLP & predictive models to generate insights from structured/unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable GenAI solutions.
• Conduct rapid prototyping, PoCs and experiments in AI agent frameworks (Lang Framework or LlamaIndex).
• Ensure code quality and packaging for production deployment and maintainability.
• Support scalable and optimized AI/ML models in production.
• Work with big data for real-time data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Run experiments to test model performance and resolve production bugs.
• Present findings to business stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations.

We are looking for passionate GenAI Engineers to join our growing team. This role combines expertise in artificial intelligence, natural language modelling, machine learning and software engineering to develop and deploy multi-agentic workflows & applications.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy intelligent single / multi-agentic application that leverage GenAI models (e.g. LLMs) and perform task decomposition, planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end AI-powered workflows integrated with backend systems, APIs and data pipelines on cloud-based platforms (example Microsoft Azure, AWS).
• Develop, refine, and implement advanced NLP (natural language processing) & predictive models to generate insights from complex structured and unstructured data sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable GenAI solutions.
• Conduct rapid prototyping, PoCs and experiments in AI agent frameworks (e.g. Lang Framework including Langchain, LangFlow, LangGraph & LangSmith or LlamaIndex)
• Ensure good code quality, packaging meeting production deployment requirements and maintainability through best practices in software engineering.
• Support the production of scalable and optimised AI or machine learning (ML) models.
• Focus on building algorithms for the extraction, transformation and loading of large volumes of real-time, unstructured data to deploy AI or ML solutions from theoretical data science models.
• Run experiments to test the performance of deployed models, and identifies and resolves bugs that arise in the process.
• Work in a team setting and apply knowledge in statistics, scripting and programming languages required by the firm.
• Work with the relevant software platforms in which the models are deployed.
• Utilize full-stack development knowledge using DevOps with hands‑on practice in language like Python, Java, React (Node.js) language to develop end-to-end application.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, presenting findings to a business / management audience and providing strategic recommendations.
• Stay current with technical and industry developments and standards to ensure effective and advanced applications of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Define success metrics and deliverable timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet strategic objectives.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experienced in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, , Generative AI, Data Transformation, Scripting.
• Knowledge and experience in project delivery, either traditional SDLC or agile delivery methodologies (or hybrid approaches)
• Experience in a delivery role on exploratory analysis, data science, Big Data analytics projects
• Exceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills and stakeholder management experience
• Experience in business intelligence, data warehousing/platform, and data strategy projects

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Min bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with any of the domain - Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, Generative AI specifically with Large Language Models (LLM).
• Proficiency in Python and other applicable full-stack software programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, language modelling, data mining, and predictive modeling.
• Excellent understanding of data science algorithms, processes, tools, and platforms.
• Possess a strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments
• Knowledge of API integration, containerization (E.g., Docker), cloud platforms (E.g. Azure, AWS, GCP), automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices
• Experience in consulting/professional service organizations
