Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills for model development and experimentation.
• Experience building and optimizing training and inference pipelines for ML systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle management practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of latency, throughput, scalability, and reliability in systems.
• Ability to collaborate across research, product, and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to turn prototypes into production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Applied AI and AIoT Scientists to transition prototypes into scalable architectures.
• Design end-to-end training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
• Develop agentic frameworks for model reasoning, tool integration, and workflow execution.
• Optimize inference performance with caching, batching, quantization, and optimized runtimes.
• Define architectures meeting real-world constraints like latency and throughput.
• Establish best practices for AI infrastructure, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to integrate AI capabilities into platform components.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure system performance and deployment readiness.
