Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is offering a full-time internship in Singapore to work on the Move Table Optimizer: Applied Artificial Intelligence for Wafer Test Optimization.

You will develop an optimization engine and a web app for engineers to visualize, compare, and evaluate configurations, aiming to reduce test time and improve tester utilization. The project involves applying optimization, machine learning, and software engineering to practical semiconductor wafer probe testing.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and software engineering skills.
• Experience with Python, Linux, Angular and SQL.
• Familiarity with ML, optimization libraries or AI-enabled workflows.
• Exposure to combinatorial optimization, coverage optimization, sequencing or path planning is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop an optimization engine that generates and ranks wafer test movement configurations.
• Develop a web application for engineers to visualize, compare, and evaluate recommended configurations.
• Validate recommendations using representative production cases and quantify improvements.
