Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a highly motivated intern to contribute to AI-enabled automation within Test Solutions Engineering. You will develop Python-based tools, explore Generative AI, and help build reusable components across engineering teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in AI-assisted workflows, software development practices, and cross-functional collaboration in a semiconductor environment during a full-time internship from January to May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with strong interest in Python and AI.
• Experience with Python programming through projects or coursework.
• Interest in Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, or agentic AI.
• Understanding software development fundamentals and APIs.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation tools for engineering workflows.
• Explore Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, and Agentic AI for engineering applications.
• Create reusable components and analytics capabilities.
• Present technical findings and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in semiconductor testing.
