Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Process Control System Engineer to start up, develop and optimize processes that improve product quality and reliability, focusing on yield, cost, productivity, and risk management across manufacturing lines.

You will apply AI/ML tools to create smart control solutions, analyze data to identify sources of variation, and collaborate across teams to implement Industry 4.0 innovations in the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to collaborate across levels.
• Interest in semiconductor industry and Micron preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
• Develops and improves smart control solutions for optimum manufacturing performance.
• Provides technical advice and support for process control implementation.
• Performs data analysis to identify sources of variation and translate into control solutions.
• Supports KEG in data collection requirements, integration, and setup.
• Defines analysis limits and OCAP, and participates in periodic reviews with PCS team.
• Develops and delivers training on control systems and related topics.
