Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, OS, networks, and software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Swift, Kotlin, Java, Objective-C, C/C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Go).
• Interest in client-side development and AI-assisted software development across Android, iOS, backend, and other domains.
• Commitment to code quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, iteration, and delivery of TikTok’s audio/video creation experiences and AI-powered tools.
• Develop features for the TikTok client across Android, iOS, and other platforms with cross-platform tooling.
• Deliver end-to-end features spanning client-side, backend APIs, data processing, and AI integration.
• Explore AI coding throughout the lifecycle—requirements, design, implementation, testing, and reviews.
• Help productionize AI agents for audio/video creation with focus on performance, reliability, and UX.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, ML engineers, and QA to drive high-quality delivery.
