Job summary

Sea is seeking a frontend engineer to lead the end-to-end design and development of new features with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams. You will design and integrate AI-powered workflows to boost productivity and harness AI-native practices to accelerate delivery while upholding quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in Frontend Engineering, automated tools to develop, test and deploy the systems.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and a strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals.
• Hands on experience in harness engineering and agentic programming.
• Knowledge with React / Angular / Vue.
• Familiar with the full web stack, understand common network protocols.
• Good sense of UI and UX design.
• Passionate about frontend development, innovation, and solving challenging problems.
• Willing to explore, research and apply new technologies and tools to streamline the existing process.
• Excellent working attitude, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience in solving web performance issues and web performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of new features in collaboration with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring a deep understanding of the product and translating requirements into high-quality user experiences.
• Design, build, and integrate AI-powered workflows into our products to better serve users, improve productivity, and unlock new ways of working across the organization.
• Leverage AI-native engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, agentic programming, and harnesses engineering, to accelerate day-to-day delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Drive the development and maintenance of shared frontend tools, including the component library, coding standards, and design systems.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve development workflows, build reliability, and deployment efficiency.
• Stay up to date with emerging frontend, AI, and software engineering technologies, ensuring the delivery of clean, scalable code that is properly tested, reviewed, and aligned with modern engineering practices.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve issues that enhance product stability and user experience, while exploring and evaluating new technologies, AI tools, rapid prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to improve existing processes and products.
• Participate in regular internal technology sharing and other regional tech events
