Job summary

A*STAR Research Entities in Singapore invites applications for a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and drive multidisciplinary small molecule drug discovery projects from target validation through lead optimisation and candidate nomination. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and report to governance bodies.

You will cultivate collaborations with academic, clinical, CRO, and industry partners, ensuring objectives are met on schedule within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Chemistry, Life Sciences, CS or related field.
• At least 2 years of project management in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• PM certification is advantageous.
• Experience leading complex interdisciplinary projects at computational/experimental interface.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Adaptable to evolving project needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in oncology or related diseases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated project plans with timelines, milestones, and resources.
• Track progress against objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
• Support annual budget planning and forecasting.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Foster collaborations with experimental/clinical groups and partners.
• Coordinate activities with CROs, academics, industry, and government agencies.
• Organise governance and reporting to stakeholders.
