Qualifications

• PhD required in bioinformatics or related discipline.
• Strong background in NGS data analysis (genetics, transcriptomics, epigenetics).
• Proficiency in machine/deep-learning and analytical skills (R, Python) on Linux HPC.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics software and workflows.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform bioinformatics analyses of next-generation sequencing and multi-omics datasets.
• Develop machine-learning and deep-learning models for biomarker discovery and development.
• Develop computational methods for precision medicine.
• Interpret analytical results in a biological and clinical context.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant applications, and presentation of research findings.
• Manage and maintain research data, ensuring data quality, organisation, and accessibility.
• Train and onboard new research staff and students.
