Job summary

INTERPOL is seeking an AI Development Intern for a 11-month program in Singapore. You will work on AI-powered software, prototype LLM integrations, and build RAG pipelines with a focus on data privacy and security. This role requires strong Python skills and collaboration with international teams.

You will contribute to cutting-edge AI projects supporting INTERPOL’s global mission, with hands-on enterprise experience in an international organization and strict application deadlines.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduate or current student in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
• Strong Python programming for software development and data processing.
• Exposure to large language models (LLMs), RAG systems, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication in an international context.
• Legal work eligibility with availability for on-site operations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered software tools and ML prototypes using Python.
• Prototype LLM integrations and build RAG pipelines.
• Develop vector database pipelines and semantic search workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers across teams.
• Participate in code reviews and agile sprint activities.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Contribute to INTERPOL’s AI Acceleration initiatives.
