Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Data Architect to oversee architecture across petabyte-scale datasets, mission-critical analytics workloads, and to evolve the company’s data foundation.

You will lead the evaluation and integration of enterprise data and AI platforms, design cost-efficient, high-performing data infrastructures for analytics, ML and LLMs, and implement multi-layer data warehouse and lakehouse architectures with governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 10+ years in data architecture, warehousing or large-scale infra.
• Proven enterprise DW/Lakehouse experience in high-volume environments.
• Deep AWS expertise: Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, SageMaker.
• Experience with real-time processing, ETL/ELT, and MLOps pipelines.
• Governance and compliance hands-on (PDPA, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and integration of enterprise data and AI platforms.
• Design cost-efficient, high-performing data infrastructures supporting analytics, ML, and LLM applications.
• Design and implement multi-layer data warehouse and lakehouse architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Build and maintain data flow diagrams, ER models, and lineage maps for end-to-end data flow transparency and traceability.
• Implement pipeline monitoring, error alerting, and system health dashboards for reliability and uptime.
• Enforce masking, encryption, and least-privilege access aligned with PDPA/GDPR standards.
• Lead proof-of-concepts for emerging tools and automation frameworks.
• Introduce modern paradigms (data mesh, data febric, lakehouse) as company scales.

4. Build and maintain data flow diagrams, ER models, and lineage maps for end-to-end data flow transparency and traceability.
5. Implement pipeline monitoring, error alerting, and system health dashboards for reliability and uptime.

Requirements:

• min. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• min. 10 years experience in data architecture, warehousing, or large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven success in building enterprise Datawarehouse / Lakehouse in high-volume industries.
• Deep expertise in AWS stack sch as Redshift, Glue, S3, EMR, Lake Formation, IAM, CloudWatch, SageMaker, etc
• Knowledge of real-time processing, ETL/ELT automation, and MLOps pipelines.
• Hands-on governance and compliance exercise (PDPA, GDPR)
