Job summary

Micron invites you to join the Test Solutions Engineering team for an AI-enabled automation internship focused on Python tooling and Generative AI applications in semiconductor test environments.

Work with cross-functional teams to develop reusable components and analytics, and contribute to PoCs and project documentation. The program runs for about five months in 2027, with potential opportunities for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python programming in academic, personal, or project work.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, LLMs, AI Assistants, or Agentic AI.
• Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based automation modules or tools for engineering workflows.
• Explore and evaluate Generative AI, LLMs, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI technologies for engineering applications.
• Create reusable components, integrations, and analytics capabilities for broader automation initiatives.
• Present technical findings, document project outcomes, and recommend future enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver project objectives.
