The role spans AI architecture development, machine learning, generative AI and hands‑on AI engineering across cloud, edge and on‑prem environments. The successful candidate will design scalable AI solutions, establish technical frameworks, guide engineering practices, and ensure seamless AI service integration across enterprise environments.

About the Role

Schellden Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced AI Architecture & AI Engineering Consultant to support enterprise AI initiatives involving AI architecture development, machine learning, generative AI and AI engineering.

The successful candidate will contribute to designing scalable AI solutions, establishing technical frameworks, guiding engineering practices and ensuring seamless integration of AI services across enterprise environments.

This position combines AI architecture and hands-on engineering responsibilities, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Architecture & Design

• Design and maintain scalable AI architecture across cloud, edge and on-premises environments.

• Evaluate technical feasibility, effort estimation and potential impact of proposed AI solutions.

• Develop architecture frameworks supporting AI products and microservices.

• Define processes for AI model training, validation, testing and deployment.

• Establish technical standards, coding guidelines and architectural best practices.

• Design interfaces and interaction mechanisms between AI and non-AI services.

2. AI Engineering & Development

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to AI development teams.

• Support AI product development in collaboration with product owners.

• Identify technical dependencies and resolve engineering challenges.

• Define and implement appropriate testing strategies.

• Contribute to technical planning, product backlogs and engineering improvements.

• Ensure adherence to established development standards and architectural guidelines.

3. AI & Data Technologies

• Work with machine learning algorithms, statistical methods and generative AI models.

• Support efficient data processing and integration within AI microservices.

• Explore emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support integration with enterprise IT infrastructure and shared services.

4. Technical Collaboration

• Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners and infrastructure teams.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement.

• Provide technical consultation and support across AI initiatives.

• Encourage self-organising engineering teams and effective development practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of AI architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI.

• Knowledge of AI microservices and modern software development frameworks.

• Experience with data processing and integration.

• Strong knowledge of Apache Spark / PySpark, Kafka and Hadoop.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly:

  • Azure Machine Learning

  • Azure OpenAI Service

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Understanding of AI model training, validation, testing and deployment.

• Knowledge of scalable cloud-based AI solutions and enterprise integration.

Additional Requirements

• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to independently manage technical responsibilities.

• Experience leading or coordinating technical project teams.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Ability to collaborate with international teams across different time zones.

• Fluency in English.

Working Arrangement

• Monday to Friday.

• Hybrid working arrangement.

• Office attendance on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

• Work from home on Tuesday and Friday.

• Occasional evening meetings may be required to support international projects.

• Engagement duration until 31 December 2027, with potential renewal subject to performance.
