Job summary

Argyll Scott Singapore is seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to define and scale Traditional AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities across a large enterprise. You will build secure, scalable AI foundations that support complex, real-world use cases with governance by design.

The role focuses on architecture patterns, secure deployments, and lifecycle management, mentoring teams while coordinating with Risk, Security, Legal and Compliance across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Must have prior dedicated AI architecture and production experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing AI, data and cloud architectures in complex enterprises.
• Proven track record architecting and governing large-scale enterprise platforms with AI/data focus.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including LLMs and tool calling.
• Experience taking AI solutions from prototype to secure, scalable production.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, governance and operational resilience.
• Ability to balance innovation with risk, cost, regulation and stability.
• Strong architectural judgement for long-term, high-impact decisions.
• Collaborative with stakeholders across countries, cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment of AI agents and GenAI solutions into the platform.
• Define lifecycle management for models, agents and platforms.
• Lead build-versus-buy, vendor evaluations, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Risk, Security, Legal and Compliance on Responsible AI and governance.
• Mentor architects and engineers; document patterns and decisions.

AI Architect – Traditional AI & Agentic AI / Insurance (Director)

We are partnering with a leading global organisation seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to define and scale enterprise-wide Traditional AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities.

This is a group-level position supporting multiple business units and corporate functions. The role will focus on building secure, scalable and reusable AI foundations that can support real-world production use cases across a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the enterprise target architecture for Traditional AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Translate strategic and operational business requirements into scalable, secure and production-ready AI architectures.
• Define architecture patterns for agentic systems, including orchestration, tool and function integration, memory, feedback loops and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Act as the architectural authority for AI initiatives, governing key design decisions and ensuring consistency across the organisation.
• Design reusable enterprise AI platform components that can support multiple business units and use cases.
• Establish architecture standards covering security, privacy, compliance, scalability, resilience, observability and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the implementation and deployment of AI agents and GenAI solutions into the enterprise AI platform.
• Define lifecycle management approaches for models, agents and platforms, including monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Lead build-versus-buy assessments, vendor evaluations and the integration of third-party AI platforms.
• Partner with Risk, Security, Legal and Compliance teams to embed Responsible AI and governance by design.
• Mentor architects and engineers while documenting architecture patterns, standards and key design decisions.

Requirements

• Must have prior dedicated AI Archiecture and production experience
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing AI, data and cloud architectures within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience architecting and governing large-scale enterprise platforms, ideally involving AI or data-intensive systems.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including LLM architecture, RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, multi-agent workflows and agent memory.
• Experience taking AI solutions beyond prototypes and into secure, scalable production environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, governance, compliance and operational resilience.
• Experience balancing innovation with enterprise requirements around risk, cost, regulation and platform stability.
• Strong architectural judgement, with the ability to make long-term and high-impact technology decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Relevant Azure, AWS, AI/ML or enterprise architecture certifications would be advantageous.
