Job summary

NUSABASE DIGITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking Frontend Engineers to build intuitive and reliable user interfaces for AI applications, including conversational assistants, knowledge bases and AI agent workbenches.

You will develop frontend applications, implement multi-turn conversations, streaming outputs, markdown rendering and API integrations, and collaborate with backend, product and overseas teams to optimise the UI for AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years or above of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one framework such as React, Vue, Next.js or Nuxt.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Understanding of SSE, WebSocket or Fetch Stream.
• Familiarity with Markdown rendering, code highlighting and rich-text display.
• Good UI/UX awareness and attention to error handling and edge cases.
• Component-based development, performance optimisation or mobile adaptation experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend applications for AI assistants, conversational interfaces, knowledge bases and AI writing tools.
• Build multi-turn conversations, historical sessions, streaming output, stop-generation and retry functions.
• Implement readable displays for Markdown, code, tables, formulas, images and cited sources.
• Integrate SSE, WebSocket or Fetch Stream and handle connection interruptions, timeouts and retries.
• Develop interfaces for prompt input, templates, file uploads and context settings.
• Display estimated Token usage, input length, context capacity and usage status.
• Improve loading, error, rate-limit, fallback and empty-data states.
• Work with backend, product and overseas teams on API integration and interface optimisation.
