ABeam Consulting (Singapore) PTE. LTD. seeks a senior AI engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent projects for enterprise clients.

You will design, prototype, and deliver AI solutions that translate business needs into actionable technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor juniors, and ensure scalable, secure deployments on cloud platforms. Proficiency in Python, React, and AI frameworks is essential, along with strong communication in English and Japanese.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years in AI engineering, Generative AI, AI agent development, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing AI agents, LLM apps, and enterprise AI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with React, Next.js, FastAPI or Flask.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, or Copilot Studio.
• Solid understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with containerization and production deployment of cloud-based apps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in ML/DS/analytics, consulting or pre-sales is a plus; enterprise AI platform delivery exposure.
• English and Japanese communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

Forward Deployed Engineering & Client Delivery

• Partner directly with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI agents can deliver measurable business value.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, implementation plans, and rapid prototypes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from discovery and proof-of-concept through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate technical workshops and collaborate with engineering, security, data, and business teams.

AI Agent Architecture & Engineering

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, and Copilot Studio.
• Build advanced agent workflows incorporating tool calling, planning, memory management, multi-agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, knowledge repositories, and business processes.
• Implement RAG architectures, prompt engineering, guardrails, observability, evaluations, and performance monitoring.
• Optimize agent quality, reliability, scalability, safety, latency, and cost efficiency.

Full-Stack AI Application Development

• Develop modern AI-powered applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Build backend services, APIs, and conversational interfaces with streaming responses, authentication, citations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Apply software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, version control, API design, and reusable component development.

Cloud, Integration & Productionization

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Deploy and manage applications using containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native services.
• Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and enhance operational resilience.
• Develop reusable frameworks and accelerators to support enterprise AI delivery.

Consulting & Solution Design

• Support AI and data consulting engagements by translating business challenges into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to define AI use cases, analytical approaches, and implementation strategies.
• Conduct workshops and advisory sessions on AI adoption, data strategy, and solution architecture.
• Communicate complex technical and analytical concepts effectively to business and executive stakeholders.

Pre-Sales & Business Development Support

• Build demonstrations, prototype applications, and proof-of-concepts to support client engagements and proposals.
• Validate AI use cases, machine learning models, and solution architectures through rapid prototyping.
• Support client presentations, technical discussions, and solution positioning during the sales process.
• Contribute technical expertise to proposal development and business growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AI Engineering, Generative AI, AI Agent Development, Full-Stack Development, Cloud Solutions, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing AI agents, LLM applications, and enterprise AI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, or Copilot Studio.
• Solid understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, enterprise integrations, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment of cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage ambiguous requirements, and drive solutions from concept to production.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics, consulting or pre-sales engagements, enterprise-scale AI platform delivery, and exposure to Financial Services, Trading, Supply Chain, or other enterprise environments will be advantageous.
• Good communication skills in both English and Japanese to effectively communicate and collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
