About the Role

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented AI Accounting Manager to lead our finance operations with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and automation technologies. This role combines traditional accounting expertise with modern digital transformation, focusing on improving efficiency, accuracy, and insight through AI-driven financial management systems. This role is pivotal in managing the financial operations of our clinics and will provide an opportunity for you to lead and shape our financial processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end closing.
  • Participate in the implementation and management of AI-powered accounting and automation to streamline processes and reduce manual workload.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and accurate financial reporting for all subsidiaries.
  • Review account reconciliations prepared by the team, addressing outstanding items and discrepancies.
  • Oversee billing and collection activities within the Accounts Receivable team to ensure efficiency.
  • Maintain control over financial transactions and manage the company’s liquidity.
  • Monthly intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with FRS and oversee the audit process, including reviewing audited financial statements.
  • Review corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax submissions prepared by the team.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports to regulatory bodies, such as IRAS and ACRA.
  • Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretaries, bankers, and tax agents as necessary.
  • Lead transversal accounting projects to enhance financial processes.
  • Establish and manage the monthly closing process, reporting results and highlights to management promptly.
  • Analyze financial data using AI analytics to support management in decision-making and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team in adopting digital accounting systems and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT and management teams to continuously improve accounting processes through automation and AI.
  • Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, management accounts, and budgets in a timely manner.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure all audits are conducted efficiently and closed with minimal findings.
  • Provide hands‑on leadership to the finance team, managing priorities, tasks, and team development.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • A Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in full‑set financial accounting for a group of companies preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience working on healthcare sectors with an audit firm and familiarity with Malaysian/Singaporean tax regulations a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with AI, automation tools, or accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong interest in developing IT skills and leveraging technology to enhance accounting processes.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working cross‑functionally and independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
