Role Summary

The successful candidate will provide coverage for existing Asian clients on allocated markets as necessary and will work to develop new revenue streams and expand existing ones.

Overall Responsibilities

• Working with and supporting the team with daily activities including preparation of daily market reports
• Monitoring and analyzing market performance and communicating it to customers
• Meeting with new and existing clients on a consistent basis to develop and maintain business relationships
• Executing orders between traders to buy or sell via phone or computer
• Identifying potential clients via research and cold calling
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA
• At all times complying with the relevant Code of Conduct within the appropriate jurisdictions.
• The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

Competencies and Skills

• Great interpersonal communication skills with excellent communication both written and spoken. Professional phone etiquette in speaking with clients is a must.
• Foundational understanding of Derivatives.
• Excellent numeracy skills with sufficient proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
• Detail‑oriented and able to judge the risk/reward trade‑off in daily operations.
• Agility: Ability to strategize, think and react quickly with good decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of delivering information to clients in a very fast and efficient manner.
• Able to negotiate with a focus to maximize desk profitability.
• This role covers Chinese clients and supports clearing market in China, hence requires strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders in the China market.
