Job summary

RMA Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to develop backend services and AI-enabled solutions, with a focus on Agentic AI applications. The role involves building APIs, integrating AI/LLM components, developing data pipelines, and working with databases and knowledge graphs to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions.

This is an outsource role in partnership with Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd (e2i).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in FastAPI and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of software architecture, modular design, debugging, and coding best practices.
• Familiarity with testing, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Exposure to databases like MySQL; knowledge of Neo4j, search engines, or vector databases is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LLM, RAG, AI/agentic frameworks, or knowledge graphs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and software components for AI applications.
• Develop data integration and processing pipelines across structured and unstructured data.
• Work with databases, semantic models, and knowledge graphs to support AI applications.
• Integrate AI/LLM components, databases, and backend services into end-to-end solutions.
• Convert prototypes and requirements into scalable, production-ready software.
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with software, data, and business teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
