Job summary

A shipping company in Singapore is seeking an Agency Management Specialist/Executive to act as a liaison between the shipping line and local operations. This role involves managing agency agreements, training new agencies, and maintaining agency contact lists. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage domestic and overseas agency agreements.
  • Responsible for the management of agency agreements in the shipping system.
  • Assist in collecting monthly agency scorecard data and criteria.
  • Arrange agency visits and meetings, and coordinate logistics.
  • Provide training for new agencies and ensure resource availability.
  • Update agency contact list regularly.
  • Maintain group mailbox and respond to agency enquiries.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job description
Purpose

We are looking for an Agency Management Specialist/Executive. The position holder acts as the key liaison between the shipping line (the principal) and its local operations, ensuring smooth cargo movement, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing domestic and overseas agency agreements, including the follow up of agency agreements drafting, approval process and signing, and the filling of both hard copies and soft copies.

2. Responsible for the management of agency agreements in the shipping system.

3. Assist in collecting and collating monthly agency scorecard data and criteria from all relevant departments.

4. Assist in the arrangement of agency visits and agency meetings, and coordinating meeting logistics with Admin team, consolidating meeting material and completing meeting minutes.

5. Responsible for the arrangement of the training of new agencies and subsequent issues follow-up, coordination and resolution, and ultimately ensure that the new agency can have the necessary resource and knowledge to carry out their work with CUL.

6. Responsible for updating agency contact list on a regular basis.

7. Provide an overview of the services provided by each agency to HQ departments if there is any update.

8. Responsible for the maintenance of the group mailbox of agency management team, timely response to agency enquiries or direct them to relevant HQ departments.

9. Other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

· Bachelor or above degree, excellent written and spoken skills in both English and Chinese

· Fresh or recent graduates preferably with previous experience in agency management

· Strong Communicator and Outspoken

· Willing to engage overseas stakeholders frequently

· Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
