Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Identify, develop, and close opportunities for service contracts (preventive maintenance, extended warranty, remote monitoring, etc.).
- Promote upgrade packages, system retrofits, and spare parts sales to maximize asset performance.
- Develop tailored proposals that align with customer operational and financial goals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure contract renewals and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular account reviews and site visits to assess service needs and upsell opportunities.
- Serve as the customer’s key contact for all post‑sales service solutions.
Technical & Commercial Coordination
- Work closely with service delivery, engineering, and technical teams to design feasible service offerings.
- Prepare accurate quotations, tender responses, and service‑level agreements (SLAs).
- Balance cost competitiveness with profit margin targets.
Market & Installed Base Analysis
- Track installed equipment and analyze lifecycle stages to time service offerings.
Monitor competitors’ service offers and position your company’s unique value proposition.
- Identify white‑space opportunities within existing accounts.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Manage pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Report on monthly service sales performance, renewal rates, and customer retention.
- Provide market feedback for strategic planning and new service development.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with regional sales, technical service, and finance teams to streamline end‑to‑end customer experience.
- Participate in service portfolio development based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Support marketing initiatives such as service awareness campaigns and customer workshops.
