Job summary

Oak & Acorn in Singapore is seeking a full-time teacher to supervise and engage children aged 7-12 after school, providing homework support and light enrichment activities. The role promotes a safe, inclusive environment and collaboration with parents and staff.

Ideal candidates are experienced in tutoring or teaching, bilingual in English and a Mother Tongue language, and passionate about child development and growth with a startup-flavored team culture and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a tutor, teacher, or in student care/childcare.
• Bilingual in English and a Mother Tongue language (Chinese, Malay, or Tamil preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children (ages 7-12) during after-school hours
• Provide homework support and guide students through simple enrichment activities
• Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with other team members
