Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd seeks a Specialist, Engineering – Welding to own welding processes, govern engineering standards, and drive continuous improvement in a Rolls-Royce/NADCAP compliant environment. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and EMS to assure safe, reliable, high-quality aerospace operations.

Key duties include developing welding parameters, validating welds, maintaining certifications, and leading NADCAP audits while delivering Right

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in industrial welding.
• Experience with NADCAP compliance and audits.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and engineering authority for welding.
• Develop and approve welding parameters and standards.
• Ensure weld repair validations meet Rolls-Royce, NADCAP, AWS D17.1.
• Verify welder certifications per AWS D17.1.
• Design welding jigs and tooling to improve productivity.
• Review drawings and technical docs to support manufacturing.
• Lead development and optimisation of welding processes.
• Provide technical support for complex welding issues.
• Review and approve process documents (PDCs, SOPs).
• Lead NADCAP and Part 145 audits preparations and closures.
• Lead root-cause analysis for welding non-conformances.
• Support HSE standards and Zero Harm programme.
• Promote zero-defect culture and Right First Time quality.
• Drive productivity improvements and cost reductions.
