Job summary

A leading aerospace maintenance company is seeking Aircraft Technicians and CNC Machinists in Singapore to join their team. This role involves performing maintenance checks on various aircraft systems, including engines and avionics, and ensuring all equipment is functional. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in engineering, at least two years of experience, and strong organizational and teamwork skills. The position may require rotating shifts. Are you a skilled Aircraft Technician or CNC Machinist looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further! AJI International Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of CERTIS Group, is hiring talented professionals for major Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities in Singapore.

Job Vacancies
1. A&C Base
  • Base Maintenance involves mainly heavy checks such as C and D Checks.
  • Base Maintenance facilities are designed to repair, overhaul, modify and test for aircraft such as Boeing 747, B737, B777, B787 and Airbus 320 family, A300, A330, A340, A350, A380 in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s specification and documentation.
  • Perform removal, installation, repair, modification, overhaul, replacement and testing of airframe and engine components installed on the aircraft.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean working area and observe all safety measures.
  • Re‑assembled components, check them for operating efficiency and general condition and serviceability in accordance with established maintenance schedule and rectify defects or malfunctions recorded by the flight/cabin crew.
  • Maintain detailed written records of work performed on aircraft.
  • Assist in non‑destructive material testing, for example, borescope, ultrasound and eddy current probes and magnetic field checks.
2. A&C Cabin
  • Review the Aircraft Cabin maintenance logbook. Rectify defects or malfunction recorded by flight/cabin crew. Maintain records of action taken for completeness and serviceability. Ensure that all emergency and demo equipment are serviceable and operational.
  • Accomplishment of aircraft maintenance checks, check inspection, removal/ installation, repair, overhaul, modification, and refurbishment of all cabin components and associated parts including carpets, windows, curtains, cabin lightings, flight crew/ flight attendant/ passenger seats, galleys and lavatories, floor boards, cargo compartment and all their related equipment.
  • Accomplish maintenance checks in accordance with the company’s standard procedures, manuals, and manufacturer’s specification to ensure its serviceability condition and attachment security for passenger’s comfort and safety.
  • Perform routine checks and works specified in the work sheet and work cards, and its corresponding corrective action or parts/ unit replacement and modification.
3. Avionics
  • Maintenance and servicing of aircraft avionics/ communication/ computer systems and its related components including testing and calibration in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s specification and documentation.
  • Ensure that newly installed components and systems meet requirements mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration and specifications set by aircraft manufacturers.
  • Maintain aircraft radar system, radio communications equipment and flight controls.
  • Maintain detailed written records of work performed on aircraft. (eg. Main Battery, Emergency Battery, Starter Generator, ACW Generator, GCU, BPCU, etc.)
  • Removal and installation of airframe and engine avionic components.
  • Perform components changes, tests, and adjustments on aircraft avionics systems consistent with the quality standards.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean working area and observe all safety measures.
4. Engine Technicians
  • Perform disassembling and assembling of engine while adhering to technical and quality specifications.
  • Perform overhauling on the engine.
  • Perform repairing type of aircraft engine parts such as parts in the intake, compressor, combustion and exhaust sections.
  • Perform repair on aircraft engine high pressure compressor blades (HPC Blade) and Land Marine blades.
  • Perform welding and aircraft engine compressor blades and land marine blades.
  • Perform profiling of cold section compressor air‑foils.
  • Perform removal and replacement of air filter.
  • Perform removal and replacement of engine pipelines.
  • Perform non‑destructive testing on engine parts.
  • Perform engine propeller change and engine run up as per maintenance manual.
5. Machinist
  • Set up, operate, and maintain various CNC and conventional machines, including Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, and Broaching.
  • Ensure accurate inspections using measuring equipment, gages, and fixtures.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints with precision.
  • Maintain records and work in line with technical instructions and drawings.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized after use.
  • Promptly report any issues that could affect product quality or safety to the Supervisor.
  • Take on additional tasks as required by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum diploma in engineering, preferably in Aerospace or relevant certificates.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry as a full fledge technician, excluding OJT, helper and assistant mechanics.
  • Technicians have to be both skilfully trained as well as theoretically prepared for any skill test required.
  • Skilled in working in a team environment with effective organizational skills.
  • Exposure on commercial aircraft from Boeing and Airbus, both wide and narrow body airframes.
  • Able to commit rotating shifts, if applicable.
